The Fang of Uka'roth the Divine Serpent "Where did this thing come from?!" "From the very beginning." When Creation was young and the masters of this world were joyous in their work, things walked the earth that should not be and would not be for long. The fires of creation and destruction consumed as much as they made, and things came and went without rhyme or reasons, as per the whims of the makers. Of these things many tried to survive, though most failed. One of those that succeeded was Uka'roth, Serpent of the Void and Burrower Into The Bones Of Creation. Whenever the world was remade, the serpent would flee into a Void that only it had access to or burrow so deeply into Creation that it could taste the formless Wyld again. Twisted by the thousand approaches to Madness and the Silence of the Void, the creature lost itself. After the Dawn of the World ended and the Gods had taken the world as their own, the Serpent emerged from a millenium of hiding and found a world changed, an unknown existance it could barely comprehend. It emerged and slithered through the world, leaving chaos and destruction in it's wake, and thus it brought upon itself the Exalted Host. Though they had fought the Makers of the World, the seemingly invincible skin of the serpent was a challenge even to them, and they fought and struck it until the serpent felt the pain and retreated once more. Before it could flee the world to it's Void, though, a mighty warrior broke from the serpent's mouth a single tooth of grand proportion. Setting it aside as a trophy of another victory, the warrior kept it in his posession for centuries. A friend of this warrior wondered about the fang and inspiration struck him. He took the fang after an agreement of trade and began his tireless work. He took the time a true craftsman takes to make a Wonder of the Ages, and two centuries passed by. The fang was trimed into the shape of a fierce-looking hooked sword and infused with many mystical ingredients. The blade was coated in orichalcum, with the edge the only remaining part of serpent fang still visible, sharpened to rival any blade there is. The orichalcum coating was finely worked and represented many aspects that were infused over the centuries, with engravings of Blue Jade rounding out the beautiful weapon. When the sword was finished, it was presented to another Chosen of the Unconquered Sun that could make good use of it, and the Snake Stylist Tawuga took the blade as a gift to his 1000th day of celebration. A few years following the presentation of the sword, the Divine Serpent stirred again in the void, having regrown the fang and healed the injuries sustained by the Chosen. Thinking that yet another Creation would await the creature, it returned to Creation and continued it's path through the world. The Exalted Host descended upon the creature once again but it's Primordial-Hide made it yet again hard to properly hurt and it was not a Chosen of Dawn that wounded the creature, but Tawuga, who carried one of it's fangs worked into a majestic weapon. When struck by the weapon, infused with spirit and intent, the Serpent's mind cleared for the first time since the Dawn of All Ages. It looked upon the world and saw Tawuga. "Why do I hurt myself?" the creature asked and the fighting stopped. "Am I not invincible?" the creature asked and the Exalted Host stood ready. "Am I dying?" the creature looked upon it's wounds and bled a verdant green. It narrowed it's eyes and looked at Tawuga once more: "I will remember" Once more the creature fled the world, though wounded to the point of death. The Fang of Uka'roth began glowing with heat for the following centuries, and remained doing so during the Fall of the Exalted Host in the First Age. The blade had been accounted for up until the Great Contagion, when it became lost amidst the endless death and chaos. "The Ephermal Eyes of a Thing That Came Before look upon me, and I feel it's blood still burning hot. I know the Serpent yet lives within the Void."
